There are over 230 clubs at Western, so it is a pretty safe bet that you can find a club to match your interests. But if you browse the club listing and can't find the club you are looking for, then you should think about starting a new club.
There are new clubs forming all the time, so check back regularly or contact the AS Club Coordinator if you have any questions.

To Start a New Club:
Be sure to read the AS Club Recognition Procedure document.
Login to OrgSync (use button in top-right corner of this page) using your WWU universal username and password, then complete your user profile.
From the 'Browse Organizations' page, click 'Register a New Organization.'
Follow the prompts, including a club name and mission statement, uploading a constitution (handy constitution template), and providing necessary contact info and W# for each of your 5 founding student members.
Once complete, your request will be pending AS Activities Council approval. In the meantime, you'll need to attend the following set of meetings in the order described.
Meet with Casey Hayden for a quick, 15-minute New Club Consultation (call 650-3450 or come by VU 535 to make an appointment).
The top 2 or 3 leaders of your club (including the Budget Authority) must attend a Club Orientation session with the AS Club Coordinator, which is a 1-hour orientation to all the important resources and processes you'll need to know about to make your club successful. You can schedule this session when you meet with Casey for your Club Consultation.
Finally, attend the next AS Activities Council meeting (they happen every Monday) to have the club officially recognized by the Associated Students. Your OrgSync form will be approved immediately following this meeting, instantly making your club "live" and granting you administrative access over your portal and all the amazing features of OrgSync.
